General Thoughts / Observations

This was the second test flight for a purchased material lot, and unfortunately for the second time the balloon reached a high elevation, developed a leak, and slowly descended. Fortunately, as with the first, I was able to recover the balloon - this will be helpful in determining the cause.

Although it is disappointing that this homemade balloon did not achieve float, being able to recover it is very helpful in determining what the improvement steps will be.

Thoughts for next time

Prior to the next flight, some ground tests will be performed to better understand the failure cause. After the tests, we will put the corrections into the next flight.
